Last week saw the first of our Thornfields Trainer Academies, which saw eight new Training Associates graduate with honours. The academy took place over two days and gave the Trainers a chance to get to grips with the Thornfields style and values.
Led by Charan Sarai and Gerry Devine, Operational Managers for Thornfields at our office in Leeds, both gave an insight into what it takes to be a Thornfields' Trainer, looking into preparing for a course, different presentation styles and answering a range of questions from the new faces.
The budding Trainers also got their chance to take to the floor, each having the opportunity to deliver a 20-minute presentation.
‘I couldn’t take my eyes off the new Associates, they have a wealth of knowledge and experience that is second to none, and we are privileged to have them board. I offer my heartfelt congratulations and I am very excited to be working alongside them.’ Charan said
The Trainers were also happy with how the day went, offering positive feedback about Thornfields training.
"The feedback from the delegates was excellent and probably best summed up by one person’s reflection which was 'how does such a small group of people do so much high quality work’" Gerry added.
The new Associates have already been assigned courses and you will get to see them delivering training very soon!
