Workshop Objective

This workshop has been designed specifically for GPs, practice nurses,  and any other members of the primary health care team involved in exception reporting. Practice and business managers may also find the session useful in terms of gaining a thorough understanding of how exception reporting affects the practice’s Quality and Outcomes Framework achievement at the end of the financial year.

Delegates will gain an understanding of what is meant by exception reporting, why it was introduced and the different types of exception reporting available.  The course will highlight best practice in the use of exception reporting explaining how and when this should be used according to the latest guidance and the GMS Statement of Financial Entitlements Directions 2013.
