Workshop Objective

This participative one day workshop will provide delegates with a clear understanding of the workings of the modern “patient - focused” NHS. Starting with the national picture and then working through each level down to the primary care gatekeepers - delegates learn about who does what and how the different organisations and services fit together to provide seamless care for the patient.

Delegates attending the workshop will explore the component parts of the service and how they work together. In the final session they will work in groups to consider how they would change the NHS to better meet the needs of these patients. This will then be used as a basis to discuss the NHS Plan for the future.
