Workshop Objective

Training in health and safety at work is both a legal requirement and features in the CQC outcomes. This one day workshop will ensure that practice staff understand their responsibilities and can take a proactive role is assessing their risks in key areas such as CoSHH, Fire Safety, Display Screen Equipment and Lifting and Moving.

By the end of this one day programme delegates will have a good level of understanding of their personal responsibilities for health and safety and the responsibilities of others. Delegates will examine why health and safety is important and how primary care is affectetd. The workshop concludes with an action planning session to encourage delegates to put good practice into place back in their workplace.
