Workshop Objectives

This interactive session helps participants build awareness and confidence in recognising grief in the workplace. It introduces the diverse nature of grief, highlighting that while grief is often associated with bereavement, it can also arise from many other forms of loss such as the end of a relationship, a significant health diagnosis, loss of identity or organisational change.

Through live discussion and breakout activities, the session explores the emotional, relational and practical impact of grief on individuals and teams. It offers simple and compassionate ways to respond and encourages an open and inclusive culture where grief can be acknowledged and supported without judgment.

Suitable for all staff, this course is an effective way to develop a whole-team approach to grief in the workplace. It helps build understanding, resilience and connection across roles and departments.
