Workshop Objective

Being part of the Additional Roles Re-imbursement Scheme (ARRS) and a key component of Universal Personalised Care, Social Prescribing Link Workers are cost effective and can reduce patient demand for GP appointments - especially those that result from social, rather than medical needs.

This workshop will activate newcomers to the role, so they become operationally effective as soon as possible. Delegates will be given a clear understanding of how they fit into multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), how they can make a difference, safely, and how that difference can be measured.

The workshop provides an opportunity for peer-to-peer and reflective learning. Delegates also have the opportunity to develop a personal action plan.
